TOPIC: Rear brake question....

Rear brake question.... 1 year 1 month ago #1

I had the rear tire change.
I went from my dealer to home (about 1 km).

When moving the bike in the garage, I eard the rear disk brake touching the brake pad a little bit . The sound seems like it is touching for about a 1/4 turn of the wheel.

Do you think that is normal ? That is the first time that it is doing that.

I can't lift the rear end to spin the wheel to see if the disk is perfectly straight.

Any ideas ?

Greatmush,

It's normal to hear slight contact between the brake pad and disc. The rear brake is a floating caliper (moves) so as long as the pins are properly lubricated, your good to go.
