Vmax Brothers I need your help. I have found 2 beast that I am deciding on gettin one of them next wk. A 2010 in Kentucky at a yamaha dealer, and a 2009 in atlanta GA,. The one in Georgia is at Atlantapowersports, does anyone know anything about this company. I like the bike, has some aftermarket parts already on it that I like and want to do, I'm sure I can't get no warranty on it from them which might be important. They both have the or close to the same miles on them. sort of leaning to the 2010 now that I think about it and It being at a dealer and all. Some feed back would be nice and helpful.

Well, the first question is, do you perfer black or red. What are the aftermarket mods on the Atlanta one? What is the price difference in the two? If it already has a full aftermaket exaust system and associated fuel tuner or ECU flash, it could be worth over a grand more just because of that. If the factory warranty is out, most Yamaha dealers will sell you and extended warranty. Maybe not if it has had performance mods. Exaust, tuner and so forth.

I perfer red but color will have to set to the side on this one. Aftermarket mods that I can see on the Atlanta one are 4 into 2 SS possibly UFO (looks) good. Lowered, fedner eliminator.
Kentucky is red saddlebags which I will sell cheap backrest for the wife and aftermarket mirrors r good, plus speedometor cover. Black one is on ebaymotors and red is at I75yamaha.com
red is 14299, black is 15100.
Just factor warranty how long is it not extended just factory.

I wonder if that '09 in Atlanta is the same one that used to be at a Harley dealership (posted on ebay a few times last winter)? If so, I think I recall someone saying that that one had some tuning issues (probably easily solved with a Nash Flash). I could be COMPLETELY WRONG about that, but something to consider and a good reason to not complete a deal on a bike or any vehicle in general without a test ride/drive. I drove from Michigan down to St. Louis to purchase my '09 and didn't hand over my cash until I looked it over and took a test ride. If it hadn't met my expectations I would have packed up and headed home without it. Just my 2 cents.

I say look around some more. I was at one of the more expensive dealers yesterday and they have a brand. New 09 for 15700.

I thought that 09 was black with red accents on it. I remember that bike and some talk about it.
I tell you the more I think about it the more I want to lean to the red(faster)in kentucky mainly because it is at a yamaha dealer.
