I got the V handles on mine, and love them. You can't go wrong with either design, just a personal preference thing.
I did get the bottom of the front fork lifts, and, the triple tree adapter.
I can't use the triple tree adapter, because my bike is lowered ~1.3" in front, and this brings the lower triple tree too close the fender to allow the stand's lift peg in without hitting the fender. (it would work ok if I put the front forks back up to stock ride height).
My buddy (MaxBusa) borrowed my T-Rex stands, put his '09 on them, and he sat on the bike while it was on the stands, and he said it felt secure to him.

A buddy of mine thats the parts manager at the BMW/Ducati dealer was bringing in some Pitbull stands so i was able to get in on the bulk order for The VMAX specific stand without out paying any freight. Hasnt came in yet so not sure on the quality but im just happy i finally am getting one for under 200.00 bucks.
