What do u guys think..? I got the GoPro to get video from my point of view, but I just got an email from RideSmart sayin' I can get video from them as well for $25 bucks.. Do u think it's worth getting as well? :lolipop: I guess they have someone tail behind u & see ur lines & what ur doing & not doing right.. & I can have someone " expert " setup my suspension to my weight & hight ect.. For $35.. Don't know about that one yet.. I can mess with that as I go, but I think I have it dialed in good enough for me..

By the way, the biggest "issue" you may likely have is brake fade. Brakes are great but repeated hard grabs at every corner will heat them up good. :hot: Lots of friction needed to slow down that big boy. :puhh:

I think it's a dvd u buy.. I'll get & see what I can do with it..

I'll try my best not to brake too hard & decel b4 the corner, but the new flash got rid of that hard decel so I have to use more brake now.. I got the EBC Mid-range race brake pads front & back.. When I start to get fade i'll just have to chage up my riding style I guess..

We all know the back brakes aren't worth a damn, but to help..

If you plan on getting serious at the race Track with our Beast, you better upgrade your Brake Lines to stainless (Russel, Galfer, Spiegler) before. I'd suggest using a synthetic DOT 5.1 Brake Fluid (not DOT 5, that's silcone based and ruins the Seals) while you're at it. Won't help much if the Brakes start to fade, but it'll push this Point somewhat to later.

That is on my to do list Squeeze..I've felt them and like it a lot..Just not in the budget @ the moment, but i'll try for my next track day for sure..I'm sure my lines need to be replaced any ways with all the miles i have on the BEAST..

So, you say you'll cover the Damage first and replace the Lines after you lost the Bike at the Track ?

Seriously, i can understand the Funds Thing !

But i can't understand why you're planning on hitting a Race Track with your precious Ride, risking Damage to the Ride, yourself and other Riders with an Outfit that isn't up to the Task at Hand. The stock Lines are too old by now to make use of them at the Track, the Fluid is probably the same Age and, as Yammi used DOT4, has no Reserve in it, even it's brand new.

Maybe it's the Time to think twice and come up with a different Game Plan.

I myself talked to a french Guy last Year, who was at the "Le Castellet" Race Track in France. He had a loooooong Lever after one and a half Laps and no Brakes at all after the third Lap, he had to abort the Outing. But he was eager to enter the 24 hours Race in Le Mans with his '09 and we talked about what has to be changed for making this happen.

I'm sure i'll be fine..This is NOT, AGAIN, this in NOT A RACE!! It's a School and a chance to run it some with out the cops comin' after me..I'm going so i can learn something i hope..

I ride my bike hard all the time and it's never let me down...."YET" I'll be fine, and if not, i'll take it easy..er..

I'll address this soon enough..but not in the next 2days when i go to the track..
