They are saying he killed himself with a shotgun blast to the chest to save his brain so it could be examined for symptoms of CTE (chronic traumatic encephalopathy), a trauma-induced disease from to many blows to the head. What a shame these guys play their hearts out and get nothing but pain for the rest of their lives :sad:

i'm a hugh football fan.i follow then carriers of alot of football players.he is one of the best ever my heart gose out to his family and fans everywhere.we lost one of the best of all time. :bigblush:

i just so happened to be working in oceanside, the city where he lives, the day he committed suicide and people were going nuts over this. It was something to see a town love someone so much. Rest in peace.
