TOPIC: New Exhaust

Re: New Exhaust 1 year 1 month ago #21

You can leave the exup servo in place and just remove the cables that used to go to the cat (alot of people do this). This saves you $60-80 and won't throw a code up on your display. The AIS mod is necessary tho, and not a big deal. After that, you just need a performance air filter & eventually (for optimum performance) the Nash Flash :) You'll be ok, you have lots of help here ;)

No_Max Thanks and thanks to all that is and has helped. VmaxOz the pics are just what the doctor ordered. Will be headin home here in a little bit and will have tools in hand to tackle this and be done with it with the exception of one thing. Once again thanks, got to love the Max brotherhood.

A good set of long "ball end" metric allen hex bits in 1/4 inch drive will be your best friend! :winkwink:

Well, we were all in Dannie's shoes at some point during our vmax adventure and I know that I relied on many here including yourself to get me through it. I am sure we are all a stronger community because of it. If I can help I will certainly try.

UpDate to all, Exhaust has been complete. I purchased the tools itgoes said to get and they worked perfectly. VmaxOZ your pics were right on and Thanks for the call. That was worth more than life itself. Would love to get down to that area in the future. Once again to all that put there 2cts in thanks, for the advice and help.

Well done Dannie. And you are welcome sir. Knew you could do it! There is something to be said for when you do your own work on your own bike.
Hope you enjoy it from here on
