The Scorpio RLink which is what I have after upgrading from the I900 does have GPS tracking as well as some other nice features such as an iPhone/Android app which will alert you via text message or email but it does require a monthly monitoring fee. They have two options for this. I believe the total package comes out to about $11 a month for the monitoring. I am more than willing to spend that for piece of mind. While you can track the movement of the bike you too can give an access password to police to track it as well then you can both be in pursuit at the same time. Lojac is another option which is very expensive but is only activated if and when you know your bike is stolen and doesn't come with any of the other alarm features of the RLink. Some of the other features include mapping out rides and sharing them with others through Twitter. It will show you where you have been on a map as well as give you average speed and top speed on a graph. There are also a couple of small downsides such as after an hour of no activity it goes into a sleep mode which means you cannot control the alarm from your cell phone and the perimeter sensor can tend to be a little to sensitive. This can be manually disabled though or tweaked with the sensor control. And lastly the siren could be much louder than it is. I would have loved to have been able to tie it into my air horn and maybe it could be by someone with some electrical skills unfortunately that someone is not me. I am very happy with the alarm and its features though and think the upgrade was money well spent Hope this little review helps

Well I did have to replace my battery after having it installed but my battery was three years old and sat for long periods this past winter. I believe it will use alittle more than the I900 did but it does go into sleep mode as well as deep sleep mode after thirty days of no use. Let me know if you purchase and how you like the alarm once installed If you get them with the share a ride feature you'll be the only other person I know with the alarm so feel free to share your rides with me since this is one feature that I have never gotten to use and would love to learn how.
