I though it was going to be real shaky. I've seen much worse. This video isn't very bad at all.
I found the chest strap to be the least shaky as the body absorbs all the bumps. Very nice video Thanks! |

Beautiful hotel I saw with a fantastic view. Once again, thanks a lot. No Problem. Motel on the lake was Lakeview Lodge on Broken Bow Lake in Beaver Bend OK. We stayed there Sunday night. Great spot. Lodge is owned and operated by Park Service. Every room faces the Lake. Hiking/Mountain biking trail heads start just in front of the lodge. Just down the road is marina where you can rent jet skis also. And only a few miles from Indian Hwy and Talamena skyway. Lakeview Lodge www.beavers-bend.com/lakeviewlodge.htm |

Lots of roads around Eureka Springs are like the one seen in this vid. Looks like this video was shot up on hwy 90 on SW Missouri. Several roads in SW MO to choose from as well.
Looks like the lead Gen 1 rider here needs to slow a bit so that the white T-shirt Gen II rider can keep up without going left-of-center so much. |

Gigi and i had a blast. She said it was the best time Riding wise that she has ever had. weather was great. lows about 60 and highs about 80ish or so. when we were packing up the truck tuesday morning it was 46 degrees.
We rode about 150 miles on monday and i think it was about 70 degrees or so all day. Gigi ended up breaking a throttle cable with about 60 or so miles remaining on saturday. Joe ended up clamping on a small pair of vise grips to the cable and then i just held that against the throttle itself. took abit getting used to it but after a few miles got the hang of it. Kinda funny that i passed a group of 2 harleys, a goldwing, a BMW and 2 cars with vise grips as a throttle. Thanks again to Clay Banker that pulled his cable off his bike saturday evening and gave to us so that we could ride on monday. I will get some pics up abit later along with a couple drag racing videos, thanks to everyone that came out, and to those that didn't SUCKERS!!!! You missed out. Michael and Gigi |

Great ride on the video. Did you guys pick that road especially for this tape or are all the road in the region of Eureka Springs like that? Hardly anyone in sight & a great twisty road! Wow, I envy you such roads. Yes Babe, the roads in that area are ALL like that. Its MaxTastic heaven. Man, I cant express enough appreciation for this event, THE group, and, of course, The Ride without boring you folks w it. For me its a tougher ride---i actually have to pay strict attention--because i'm use to put-puttin around w me harley mates. And I tell you one of the things I learned this time: What Vboost smells like. |

I did 1040 miles this trip.. Too bad I only did a few miles with the group Sorry I missed you guys Sun morn, the Houston guys going straight South were ready to go as soon as I stuck my head out the door. The ride up was fun with you & Kyle & look forward to riding with ya'll again. Totalled 1503 miles, got home @ 8:30 last night.BTW, It was fun putting names to all the 'handles' & meeting all you folks & I see why everyone likes this area to ride, it was fantastic! On a side note, this old man will wuss out & trailer next time, my butt is still numb... Nice meeting you too Dale. Trailering IS the way to go. My back and wrists were good to go Friday and Saturday. Gotta go get yourself a gel pad or an Airhawk. Hope to see you in the Hill Country this fall. Shaun |
