Hi, 6 days touring 1200 miles and my pillion had a sore back side and other nearby parts, so she submitted to my suggestion of weeks ago
to pad the seat with foam. Today we rode 370 miles and 70 of that in the rain no problem with backside today. I stacked 2 X 2" foam in a cotton bag as an emergency fix Cheers Gforce. |

As for handling in the city with a passenger... I say that depends on the passenger. If they are an experienced passenger and become one with the driver and bike I find city driving fine. I drive almost as hard and radical as if alone. But if you have an inexperienced passenger... one wrong move in a critical maneuver and you could find yourself in a sticky situation...
I have had passengers move around too much at low speeds and that will steer the bike and I have had passengers you don't even know are there. Lucky my Girlfriend is a perfect passenger...;^) |

Handling is not too bad with a passenger, even in city traffic or mountain twisties.
The seat being the size of a small dinner plate is not very user friendly if out on long rides though (So I've been told). |

I ride on occasion with a friend who rides 2 up. She must be a great passenger because I have a hard time keeping up!

I upgraded to a Corbin passenger seat, because of someone complaining behind me. No more complaints with the Corbin.

I redone my seat and had it cut down by a guy locally, went to the rally this past wk-end and my A&& loved it all wk-end. Best money I ever spent. I need a back rest as well so I can ride the complainer behind me, I am trying to find out what the back rest will hold on to. On the rear fender you have the 2 holes on either side but that is just in the plastic. As the old saying goes if mama ain't happy you can't ride Mr. Max. So this is a HOT project on my list to get done ASAP. LOL
