Hey guys, I really appreciate the advice. I believe I’ll look for a new 2010. I’m in Northern Utah and anywhere I buy will be quite a distance from here. Whether or not I haul it home or hire it out, I would be a fool to buy it sight unseen as it would have been sitting in the showroom for quite some time. There are a few unsold 2010s in California but before I consider even contacting a dealer, can anyone tell me if bikes sold in California have any special emissions equipment, or any other regulatory changes that would be unique to California? I’m also under the impression that California charges their state sales tax regardless of where it is going to be registered, although that is a question for the dealer if no one here knows. Thanks again!
