My name is Cathy Pearly and my husband was Steve Pearly (SDPearly) I don't know if there is anyone left in these forums that remember Steve, but he loved this forum before his death in July 2010. He had a 1994 Gen 1 VMax that he loved, and I have no choice but to sell it at this time. It sat for all this time, but I have some good friends that loved Steve and they were able to get it running for me so that I could sell it. The seat area needs to be reupholstered, but other than that, the bike is running good. In looking online for others for sale, I have found ranges in price from $2000-6500. I would like to get $3500 for the bike, and hope that is a fair price. If anyone here is interested, please contact me at This email address is being protected from spambots. Hi Cathy, good to hear from you. As Kris said, we sure remember Steve well on the forum. He was very active and very well liked here. A few of us had the pleasure to meet him in person and we all miss him. Hope you are doing OK, it is hard to believe it's been 2 years already. We'll help spread the word for the bike. As Pascal said, it is hard to believe that it has been two years...miss Steve a lot, he was a great man...

Sorry I couldn't help more with the bike in between my trips back and forth from CV to Tokyo...but it seems that Robert and others were able to get it ready for sale and hope that you can find it a new home soon...

Perhaps some members here have a set of GEN1 Rider/Mid/Passenger seats lying around collecting dust that they would be willing to part with...
