Well make that X - Interceptor , I was on my Afterdinner run decided on The Gandy Bridge going over to Tampa , I was cruising

about 8-10 over on the Causeway part leading up to the Bridge and see those Familiar headlights of the Infamous "Crown Vic

Police Interceptor" coming up kinda quick on my Port side I maintain my Speed about 58 he's prob going 64-65 I can see that it

is a couple 20 sumpins in a retired cruiser with a Garmin on the dash windows down, And just as we are

getting off the asphalt onto the Concrete of the Bridge he pulls in the right lane and picks up speed I am pacing him now about

100 feet back in the left lane and there he go's 70-80-90 and at about 100 I decide to give him a little V max 4-1 to make up

for all the heartache that Vic has caused over the years I pinned it in 5 th and passed him at 150 WFO I know that Brock was

howling at that cadence got in front and slowed to about 80 to finish the remaining miles of the Bridge to make my U - ie

to head back to my side of Town , I know that ol Cruiser would not have a prayer with the Mighty Max but felt pretty damn good

I am sure the young uns at the wheel we sporting a little wood I know I would have been in their shoes getting their windows

rattled on a warm Summer night on the "Gandy" by a V MAX.

You're lucky Robert.. The cops have been taking em down at the Gandy bridge lately. Super Troupers been patrolling it with planes..

Today I did a 3rd gear WOT blast past 7 sportbikes (all looked like 600's and 1000's) cruising at about 70, then slowed down and waited to see who was going to try and repay the insult. Nuttin....nada....no dice.....

Mark they Prob peed their tight little riding pants and had to go change when you scared it out of them Har Har

Must have a been the night for some high speed passes. On my way home tonight on the 'Max, I had one of those new Dodge Magnums pull up and pass me in the left lane. It was lowered a bit, and looked pretty cool. Next thing I know, he slows down and gets right next to me. I look over, and his wife is on the phone in the passenger seat. He looks over at the 'Max and smiles, then rolls the wife's window down to hear that sweet dual Scorpion V4 rumble. I decide to oblige, and drop a gear and lay into it and I'm gone. Next thing I know, the toll booth is approaching much faster than normal, and I slow to pay. He has one of those pre-pay things, and rolls right through, smiling as he passes me again. GPS confirmed, the fastest I have gone on the 'Max yet, and due to possible incrimination, I won't state the speed, but needless to say, it would not have possible without Tim's reflash with the top speed limiter removal. Woohoohoo, this bike never ceases to amaze me. What a rush!

I love their sound too.. Scorpions ripn thru the gears always sound sweet.. add Flash for MAXimum effect and poof, gone

Went out with a handfull of 20 sometings on sportbikes last night.
I had to laugh when the ringleader on a Gixxer 750 wouldn't race my ugly 2 banger ADV 1200.
He remembered how fast my Vmax was & suspected I had nitrous stashed somewhere on the Super Tenere.

Everyone was surprised how my goldwing was right there racing across all the bay bridges we looped.
