Do you just want to drop the seat height?

1 inch lowering link and reshape the seat by 1/2 inch or more

Ok...so you can cut your seat, you can purchase a Corbin seat, and/or you can get a lowering link...either a 1" or 2" and also slide the forks up in the triple tree.
These will all get you lower for not a lot of cash. IMO though if you can afford it, the best way to do it is with the kit from YS gear. This will give you the best handling and maintain the correct suspension geometry. It's not available in the US but Exactrep ships to the states. I wasn`t aware of that full exactrep lowering kit Mark.
It would be definitely the way to go. I will be ordering one myself ASAP. Thanks for the heads up on it. Vic |

Thank you for all the information. Since the distance between the seat and pegs is very important for me (given my height) - since I am 6'2" tall my reason for lowering the bike might differ from riders that need better feet contact with pavement.
I will go with the suspension modification option. Thank you again. Schmidt |

Could someone please tell me if we have a product review for the UFO's ground assault lowering suspension kit?
Exactrep and UFO seems to be the only two options for lowering the G2's suspension. Thank you in advance for any help provided. Schmidt |

Not sure on any reviews, but UFO is more for show bikes I was told? Re the exactrep, I have just ordered the complete system. I think it may be more road roading adaptable and appears it will keep the entegrity of the suspension
I will give a run down when I get it. |
