TODAY IS THE DAY! We are awaiting our transportation to the Frankfurt Flughafen in about 2 hours. We'll land in Denver in about 12 hours from now. 6 hours layover gives us time for family that live in Denver and surrounding area. Final 1.5 hour flight to El Paso, TX gets us in there at nearly midnight (MST). Then as of Tuesday, 10 July 2012, we are in Las Cruces, NM.

I am excited to get moving now, but will be glad when it is all over.

Lee, that's a very long haul to get to your new home.

I can understand you being glad when it's all done with. You and Ute must have been preparing for this move for more than 2 months now! Pfff, you need a holiday, my friend. Preferably on a bike with Ute on the passenger seat, leisurely riding into the sunset. Having a great BBQ (you sure can roast those beefs!!!! )& share some drinks with like minded people and relax. Than relax in a soft feather bed & sleep the sleep of the innocent. And get up in the morning, refreshed & ready to ride another couple of hundreds of miles!

We are getting settled here in Las Cruces. Our new home will be finished in a about a week. Our household goods, including my motorcycles, are still about 3 to 4 weeks out.

It is certainly beautiful here, and much warmer than Germany.
