Heck, give the guy a break...it's summer ...boots just don't look good with shorts. Let me tell you what happened to my right foot when I was riding with bare feet when I was 16. I went around a corner with sand on it too fast and had to put my right foot down in the corner on concrete. I think you get the picture. After that, heavy shoes and socks for me. These are my warm weather boots the vent air very well but still have that critical prtection plate over the ankle bone 20 sumpin K on these and will start looking for a new pair soon.
