You should modify the airbox and install a K&N filter & you need to do the AIS mod once the cat is removed. Add a 2nd spring to your clutch and you'll have a REAL beast when done ;)

1. Airbox Mod & Filter
2. V&H Exhaust
3. AIS Mod
4. Double Disc clutch mod
5. More back tires

Your looking at around $900 for the V&H set-up, aproximatly $600 for the Nash flash, and another $80 for a K&N filter. The airbox mod free so is the AIS removel just your time and effort required for those two!

Your required to do the labour but their really isn't alot to it. The hardest thing about changing out the exhaust is getting the stock system off, but if you do a quick search of the forum their have been many step by step threads on how to go about that aswell as the airbox restrictor removel aka airbox mod and the ais removel.

Thanks for the info vmaxmercer. I'll look it up. I took an R1 today and I had him until my limiter kicked in... Held off on modifications but I thinks it's time to reconsider. Thanks again for the info.
