I had Grip Puppies on my Concours-14, and also put them on the Vmax.
For me, they were still just a little too fat.
So, I tried a pair of Oury grips (have to cut the ends off).
I used to run them on my dual-sport bikes, and my ATV's.
They are very soft (gel-like), and not slick so your gloves wont slip and you don't have to hold a death grip on the throttle.
They are not the "coolest looking", but, they work good for me, and they are very inexpensive.

HEY TnVmax.............Where did you get the two tone clutch lever with the Vmax Logo? :yeah:

I'm tired of looking at "aluminum" on my bike! :screen:

I got them from
The ones I got were adjustable length.
I thought the shorts were too short, and the longs were too long.
If you want another custom look, they also have a "blade" version also.

There you go....good choice!
And if it wasn't for your inquiry and TnVmax I may not have seen the levers in my future!
