I took my boy on a memorial run for a local fire fighter who died last year in a fire. It was a poker style type run with escort about 80+ miles( did it all before reserve light.) Good times, Started out a little wet then cleared up to some hot sun...

Looks like a really good turnout for the first ride. Good planning really makes a difference.

Was it police escorted?

Most of my riding is stuff like this......get to keep my license plus I get food most of the time!

Lot of times I branch off or leave by myself to let the animal breathe a little.

Heck.....one ride was even for a doggy park and the Mrs was on her bike and squealed on me when we returned (as usual!).

Yeah. Police escorted to four Bars.... mostly responsible drinkers i hope. It kills me how many dudes need to be cool by drinking at 10am. Good times though. Too bad i made the boy stay 2 extra hours for the raffle. Didn't win either...errr... i really wanted the Gronkowski autographed picture...

Great turnout & I saw the weather get better with each picture.

My best group ride is with a police group....all intersections covered....great food....great prizes.

In 2008 one of the guys had a Gen1 and told me about the Gen2. I stumbled onto StarVMax while searching for info on it....and ordered it one month later.

These guys are called "Blue Knights" and I always support their ride. They are top notch riders all the way around! I have a couple good friends in their local group and one in particular supports other rides and provides lead and tail positions when we ride together! i always look for him! A couple of years ago he got t-boned good within several blocks of leaving the end point. I felt really bad for him as he always covered everyone else. But he's back up and running now!
