Mike.....you know the funny thing is that yamaha has the v max engine on the cover and pic and specs on the first page of the canadian 2009 cruiser lineup sales brochure.the real funny thing is and im quoting from the back page....."The warrior is not intended for novice or inexperienced riders"....:woohoo:
What about v max?? they only list it on the fist page. :woohoo:

Actually my local dealer told me a few weeks ago that they could still order the 09 VMax. Not too sure that Yamaha enforced their so called deadline date to order of (10/31/08) since they did not sell as many as they had hoped. I think what Yamaha did is allowed the dealers to buy up the ones that did not sell to special order buyers & that is why there are now no more to be had (ordered). If there is anyone out there, that can actually confirm this please let us know. In any case it is not good for the prospects of a 2010 model, Yamaha did not sell the initial 2,500 to pre-order buyers and had to dump the rest into dealer showrooms and this will cause Yamaha to rethink if they want to continue manufacturing a model that fell short of their projections. Time will tell if Yamaha will produce a 2010 or if the 2009 will truly be a special collectors model!
