Randy you may want to relocate the rebound dial...lol.. Guys no joke to see this guy ride only lasts about 1,2,3 seconds and he is gone..

looks like you getting full use out of the tires
do you use the avon on the small rim?
and have you given the 240 a full test to see if it was worthy?
either way you got some really cool pics of the new max
great to see a really nice looking bike that the owner really rides!!!!

It was relocated during the build. It stuck out like a sore thumb once the left can was removed.
It's at the bottom of the shock mount now.
And if you would just "trust your tires" you would hang for a while Mike. :winkwink:

The 200 Avon Cobra suckdiddlyucked. It slid more than any other tire I've had on any street bike. I was bummed at the poor handling, I really thought it would work. I used to use Avons on my Warrior and loved the drift out of every turn. Used to ride it motard style on the street. But the VMAX has so much more power, it broke loose way too easily. So I smoked it off the same day I broke it in. Glad to see it go. Now I have to try another brand. 18's are making it difficult to find something good.
The 240 Cobra is mostly for shows since it's too wide for any real cornering. And it just seems to push the front in turns so I don't play hard when it's mounted up.

Thanks for the props Brad. I built it to ride. It seems like a waste to build up a bike and destroy the ridability. Like putting a big fat tire , air ride and 6 foot swingarm on a sport bike. YUCK! They don't even look right to me.

Great job with bike and your riding, now get some shots of some seriouse smoke shows with feet on the pegs and blackies and carnage and stuff!!! Very cool!

I take my hat off to you Randy, you have not only created an awesome bike your not scared to use it.

In those pix you look like you were having as much fun as I did down the Great Ocean Road here in Australia.

Randy Ive seen you leave very very good riders like Greg, JP and centerline in seconds as well. Its not tires its you.. Just except it. You have that talent. Want to arm wrestle..lol..

I looked at kilboy and couldn't find the pics. Can you get a link? I want to see the smoke ones too..
