God I hate those commercials.
For what it's worth I just changed my insurance from Progressive to Geico. It is $281 (over 40%) cheaper for a 1 year policy with the same exact coverage. Would be even better if I had taken any of the safety courses, and/or had an anti-theft device installed. Just thought I'd pass that along. Mark |

If mine was $281 cheaper, they would owe me money, but I just have liability and comprehensive (theft) on both bikes, the 09 Max and the 03 Sabre. I have Progressive and like them!

If you don't mind what are you guys paying? I have both a VMax and Street Glide with Dairyland which costs me $1,200/year...I know there has to be a better deal.

Mine is $247 per year BUT that is liability and comprehensive (for theft) only- that may not suit everyone, and I am 49 with no accidents in recent memory. That is for the 09 Max and an 03 1100 Sabre, with Progressive, in Indiana, where you can only ride 7 or 8 months per year.

I have full coverage (09 parts are just too expensive for me not to have collision) 50 years old with a clean record. I'm now paying $350 (for 12 mo.) down from $631. I was only paying $140 dollars for my Gen 1 V-Max without collision coverage. Mark |

Not apples to apples. Comprehensive was $67 on my Progressive policy, collision was $384. If I dropped the collision my premium would have been $247. |

Geico $608/year. It was the cheapest, I saved all of my quotes, (State Farm $713), (Dairyland $639), (Progressive $703) and (Foremost $842). Of course YMMV. I had 1 ticket and hadn't insured a bike in the last 6 months.
My limits are super high because of an umbrella policy. |
