Time to start speculations about the 2011 model year for the VMax.

What do you expect or wish for?

Total blacked out version? New color(s)? 240 from the factory?

Blacked out totally uncorked all out drag version... with zoomie style exhaust that weighs less than 500 pounds and puts 240 hp to the ground.

I expect the red ones to hit Europe in 2011 and maybe a yellow paint job in the States?

If Yamaha wants to build a better Vmax: fit this bike with a larger tank. Everybody'll be a lot happier with more 'juice' on board. That's the only thing missing imho.

What I personally would want, apart from the tank, is carbon fiber fenders and tank cover, but brushed aluminum scoops, like they are now. From a distance they really really stand out. No other bike has a 'landmark' this obvious.

Seriously I don't think Yamaha will change much. First they want to earn back some of that R&D cost, I imagine.

I think the only changes will be paint color and aluminum clearcoat wheels.

I would like to see them change to yellow and install the 240 from the factory, but I doudt either will happen. I would speculate the only change for 2011 will be the colour, maybe blue!

I dont see the 240 going on unless they figure out the swingarm 1st color I would expect black with the flames this year and red with flames next year(clear out the overstock) oh yes and the new price increase for yet another year

I predict they take a year off- no new model until 2012!

I'm easy to please and love my max az iz....except...I would be so in on a bigger tank...and hell--more stock horse power and yes, I can and will dream...
