No! It's split on both side in the same spot.

I still have my original ones that I used for all the early dyne testing. Packing still in there, they have turned partially blue from the extreme heat when running the bike on the load control at 9000+ rpm.

They are yours free if you want them, just cover the shipping.

Hope this helps!

Just got home and saw this thread. Ouch! I didn't notice the cracks when looking closely on Friday.

That's really cool of Oliver to come through for you like that.

Wow did they get cold water thrown on them while they were hot?
I bet they got really hot on the dyno with no cool air rushing past,
are the exhaust tips smaller than the exhaust exit
in the stock cans?

Yeah, I have a set of gutted cans and they don't get hot at all going down the road. I can put my hand on them.

I think your right about the happening on the dyno..And the tips fit on the out side of the exit pipes..And no water hasn't been on them in 3 or 4 months..

I thought this maid out of titanium! That's some strong sh!t right?

Just shows the power of this V4 mixed with an X-Pipe..

Guys if gut out the stock cans this just mat happen to you as well.

Hey QTip
Hold onto them as I may have the fix you're looking for. A little high heat epoxy sanded off and then a carbon fiber wrap. I am just finishing up my exhaust cans that are gutted. They melted my resin the first time I did them but it wasn't with high heat resin. If it holds up as well as my other set did with the high heat I may be able to transform them for you into something like this. If you're interested? Should finish mine in about a week and then the test
