I got a totally unexpected email this morning from Star Motorcycles.
My Vmax was chosen to represent in the 2011 calendar. I always look forward to receiving the calendars and now my bike will actually be in it. Just blows me away.

Congrats Randy! Yours is a true representative of Yamaha styling, taken to a new mechanical extreme. All of the braided lines, anodized fittings, & polished parts, plus a very unique paint job and wicked look has made your bike "Iconic", even in Yamaha's eyes. Very well done. Congrats again

Congratulations Randy!!! Your efforts to make the brand new Gen 2 Vmax "Your Own" turned out spectacular. And you should expect accolades from your peers for years to come. When I see pictures of your bike I don't see a Gen 2 with mods. I see ICONIC. A one off creation with perfect symmetry and aggressive personality. And when you factor in the fact that you ride it like you stole it and it just smiles and gives you the response and performance you want shows that ICONIC means ALL SHOW and ALL GO. I'm thankful that you are a member of our group here because that allows all of us to feel connected to your creation.
