Its been a bad week for me. Met some new riders that me and my friends went riding with several weeks ago and just found out that he was hit in a parking lot by a kid cutting through with only his learners permit. May loose his leg so we're waiting to see. On top of that my wife's best friend called yesterday and said that her son was killed at work on a motorcycle. He worked the night shift at a warehouse and was out on brake at 3:00 am with his friend. He borrowed his friend motorcycle to drive around the parking lot and ended up hitting a curb and flying off, hitting a tree. He was killed instantly. His mom found he had a learners permit in his wallet when she went through his belongings. Just telling everyone to always stay aware of your surroundings, even stopped at a red light, make sure that guy coming up behind you is going to stop. Life's too short......pay attention out there.

I feel for your loss.
We all take on extra risk when we saddle up, but we never think that today might be "the day". May this serve as a dialy reminder to all of us that we are not invincible and to stay aware.

sorry to hear what's been going on with you and your friends. About two weeks ago on the same day/night.. Two of my buddys wrecked in two diff. Places, but not with each other.. Leaving bars late @ night and drinking WAY TO MUCH.. And both did not have a helmet on when they crashed.. One buddy died on the scene and my other buddy went to the hospital and went to ICU With a broke neck and wide open cut on his head. About 15-20 staples in his head...i think both would of been off better if they just had on a helmet and didn't close down the bar.
