TOPIC: Going for 10,000

Going for 10,000 1 year, 6 months ago #1

I have 9200 miles on my original Gen 2 rear tire. I'm going to go for 10k. I think I can make it and then I'm going to burn the rest of it off to celebrate. I know that some of you out there are only getting 2-5k miles on your original back tire, but that is because of more aggressive acceleration and burnouts I'm sure. Who has had theirs for 10k or more?

Man Tom, you have been taken easy on the BEAST. WOW!! I don't see how you did that many miles on one tire.

Yes close to that, probably had around 1500 miles when I got the ticket, and yes that ticket has altered my riding style somewhat. Still get on it some out in the open country but no burnouts or hard take-offs which does prolong the life of said tire.

Tom,

You are The King !

On my 2010, I got like 600 and had about 1/2 left and picked up a nail !

Replaced it and now have about 1700 and it's hardly got any left in the center ! Time to replace it !

Hope to burn off the Chicken Strips tomorrow in Yosemite !

Your suppose to be meek and mild on the 2010, its the 09 that your evil alter ego is supposed to expose its ugly head. Sounds like a Max is a Max no matter what year or color.
