How many 09 and 10s going to go over to sturgis fo the rally, Ive got the first week of August off.

My wife & I were planning on going in mid August, but due to powers beyond my control it's not going to happen. Although the Max would have been a blast out there we were going to take the Harleys. Mostly because of the carrying capacity and all day cruising ability. While I think everyone should go once during bike week I personally find it much more enjoyable when you don't have to share the beautiful roads with half a million other bikers.

STURGIS the holy grail of motorcycling one year Im gonna put my bike on a ship and do STURGIS and Daytona and Bonneville speed week. thats half my bucket list

They will be allowing Metric Bikes to Run at Sturgis Dragway this year during the Ralley along with all the American Iron. All bike races are on August 10th and 11th. Quals at 10:30 am and Races at 1:pm. G Brown and I should be there with our 2nd Gens on at least one of those days. Stop by if you can.

I'll be there as always. Maybe I'll finally see another Gen 2.

Going with my brother and our good friend. This will be our 3rd trip together there. But I am not taking the Max. I really want to, but we are riding out there and back, accumulating like 3000 miles in a week, and I just don't want to rack up that many highway droning miles on a new engine. And, when I told them how often I needed to stop for gas, they were less than amused.

there will be 6 of us on maxes...we are rolling up the first weekend wed 4th thru mon 9th 5 gen 1's and my gen 2...i was gonna bring my gen 1 blower bike as well but rings decided to let loose today while doing carb work...soooooo i will have to make mr 09' do all the work this yr..
