It is with the utmost sadness that I write this message. I just received the devastating news from Erik who got the email below:
It is with a heavy heart that I am writing to you all with the news that my husband Steve Pearly passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2010. It appears that he had a heart attack following a long running illness. We will be having a memorial service for him, which all are welcome to attend, at Southwest Community Church in Indian Wells, CA on Saturday July 31, 2010 at 11:00 AM with a reception immediately following at the meeting hall at Palm Desert Country Club in Palm Desert, CA. (Address information for both locations are listed below). I apologize for telling you this news in an email, this is the only way I could reach people that Steve knew, but I did not. If you would like to contact me, please email me directly at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , and I can provide you with directions or answer any questions you may have. Part of the message is hidden for the guests. I received the email from Cathy, last night and didn't read my emails until just now (05:00 PST) and I am at a total loss of words at this point...but I will be calling Cathy later today...
For now, I just want to say that Steve will definitely be missed and this really hits me hard since we rode together and had an upcoming meet scheduled for August... |
