TOPIC: Remembering Steve Pearly

Remembering Steve Pearly 1 year, 5 months ago #1

Well It's been over a month since Steve's Passing.

I still find myself thinking about how often he made me laugh.

Thought I would ask if anybody is willing to share a funny story about Steve ?

Or maybe drag up an old string with Steve's Classic Replies ?

Can't think of a better way to Live'n Up things around here than with Steve's Humor !

Have you ever heard of a sportbike/stunter club named Ruff Ryders? They are actually nationwide. Thousands of members. They have a chapter here near my house with approx 25 to 30 members. I have been riding with and going to some of their events for the last few months. They aren't really my type of people (they are kinda young and hyper. Literally the kind of numb skull you see riding a wheelie on the freeway for as long as you can see them. Yikes) But they are all really nice and cool people. And they treat me with the utmost respect cause Im old and have been there and done all that. AANNYYYWAAAAYS, I've been taking my Triumph Speed Triple when I ride with them because its alot more like the bikes they ride then my max. Well Last week they had a big get together and I thought Yeah, its time for them to meet Max. They were all knocked out by it. Most of them had never heard of one. And some had heard of them but never saw one. and maybe the odd few had seen one but didnt know what the hell it was. They loved it. After a few smokie ones and 2 quick 3 bike at once drags down the boulevard and they were all in love. Now dont get me wrong... absolutely none of them wanted one because they are sport bike/stunters duhh. But they did dig the hell out of it. And I told them all about the Gen 2s. And for them to imagine a bike that would spank mine like mine was a 1968 Bridgestone 60 sport. (google that dinosaur. It was my first "real" motorcycle. finally no more pull start mini bikes) They all want to see a Gen 2 very badly now. Anyways, Ill let you go now. Sorry for gettiong so long winded here. I have to go fling Mark67890- some **** now. Fu*k bite has 2 Gen2s. And a shelby cobra mustang SVT. Big ol homo he is.
L8r bud.

Unfortunately i joined this forum a little to late, and didn't have the pleasure to read any of his posts/ responses, he sounded like a hell of a guy and has made a great impression with some of you, I wish his family and friends all the best

At first I didn't know it was Steve's PM and I thought to myself WTF is Q rambling on about this stuff for ?

Once I realized what it was I couldn't help but get a few tears in my eyes !

That's Definately Steve ! I really wish he had some more time with us all--- at least enough for him to have his own Gen2 !

Thanks Again Q,

Mark

I remember the first time I watched that video. I've watched it a few times recently. Gotta like the little laugh when he shuts the bike off.

RIP Steve. We miss ya

Yes I miss him too. He was one of the first to become a forum friend. I didn't know such a feature was possible on a forum but he just reached out.

I can't imagine how much his wife must miss him and Jake...

I just read the news what a shock....I knew he was having health issues about 6 months ago but I never imagined it was this bad
Ill always remember Steve as an outspoken honest hard working man...never scared to tell you what he thought. He made sense....a very down to earth Man .....he loved is family and deeply regretted the loss of his son.
I suppose he's spending eternity with him in heaven waiting for the rest of us to get there and burn up streets of gold.

R.I.P Steve Pearly
