Just got it home. I love it! I know everybody has said this but it is so true. This bike is worthy of all the hype and worth the wait for those who are still waiting. I cannot believe how strong this thing pulls. I came off a Softail Harley so you can truly imagine how extreme the acceleration feels to me. I think I may run to the grocery store for something im sure we will need eventually. Dealer (MR Motorcycles) here in Asheville did a great job with the setup and delivery. Forecast is for rain for tomm. but clear in the 50s on sat and sunday!

My Dealer as well as Yamaha Service says my Bike will be here this month, but as of today the computer just says Febuary. Hopefully it will be in soon, I see several members who ordered after me have gotten theirs. Hello,

Ordered September... picked it up January 6, 2009...

Worth the wait.

There are lots of fair to good types of oil to use... but what is the best of the lot... based on scientific research... Amsoil???

For those who have not seen the forged aluminum brackets for the back rest... know that these forgings are the best looking on the entire bike... worth having even if you add a bar spacer or something interesting instead of the seat back.
