Best bass sounding exhaust out there. I got about 13 ponies out of mine with 183 rwhp. Thats with a PCV and a air box mod.
No problems at all. I think if the midpipe was built different you could get more ponies out of it.

Are there pretty portable maps for teh PCV and the stock air box mod? I have a PCV coming when Jetman gets his Nash flash and this setup seems somewhat affordable.

I have it & like the way it looks & sounds.
Rapsey sound but not ultimately obnoxious. When you get on it, it sounds awesome on the louder side.
The fit & finish is ok. The slip joints will leak. I used some t-bolt clamps to make the leaks almost completely gone.
Also removed the V&H red emblems for the clean look by drilling out the rivets that holds the badges to the cans. Then put new rivets in & painted the heads black.

One part of the install was the mount under the engine was a bitch for me to get the damn bolt through.

I have the CS-1 and love the way it sounds and looks. I also have the PCV and got a map from Vance & Hines which did not work well for me, after tweaking the map quite a bit I finally eliminated all the decel popping and most of the throttle choppiness. Still haven't put it on a dyno, so I don't know the HP numbers but feels much faster and lighter than stock. Joe's right, the slip joints will leak, I used hi-temp exhaust RTV to fix the problem.

It's the best bang for the buck IMO...and it looks and sounds great.

Wait to you feel 10 more HP and 20 less pounds.

Remember not to heat up the cans with your greeezzzy fingerprints on there, they can get etched into the finish.

Xrsteve, personally...if I were you, ya might want to take a look at Dale Walkers Holeshot Exhaust. 4-2 system with the option of different length mufflers for sound. Plus, look at his dyno numbers: 198.28hp & 126.94ftlbs...that's borderline 4-1 territory! I have this system and absolutely love it!! Drop fit...zero leaks and second to none, fit and finish!

And a huge amount of extra torque, especially at around 4,000 RPM
