TOPIC: 190HP with V&H CS 1's ???

190HP with V&H CS 1's ??? 1 year 7 months ago #1

Anyone break the 190 HP barrier using the V&H CS 1 dual exhausts ?? If so tell us about it. I love the way they look and sound but I've read 4-2-1's work better for big numbers...........

I ran 198.4 with that exhaust. I also have the Big AIR and the PC5 with a custom map.

XRSteve, a little off topic. Do all of us with the V&H setup a solid. Go buy the bike, buy the exhaust, and get it down to the Guru. That way he can perfect the flash map for the V&H......................PLEASE! :jumping:

I have never herd of #'s like that with V&H with or without the big air, very impressive!

Depends on what Dyno correction factor being used STD is the old standard and is used primarily for glory pulls it will be the highest reading but in2004 SAE became the standard correction factor you need to look at the printout to see what factor the Dyno operator used

Pipe manufacturers commonly use the STD for the higher numbers and tuners do as well to glorify their work and show higher numbers

STD can be as much as10% or more

Darryl (Dinan) pulls 182.9 and 119 torque with his re-flash, V&H, modded air box and K&N.
That is SAE with 5 smoothing

Thanks to all, this is very interesting. I didn't know there was as much as a 10% difference between STD and SAE. I'll pay more attention to this......

Those #'s have to be STD.
That would be great if it where SAE.
