If this is a pressure switch......can it be bench checked before it is installed for proper operation?

Kirk, all I know is, I have the minimum rpm set at 5k and when I go to shift (anywhere above 5k) the transmission won't shift out of the gear you are in whether it be second, third, forth. You can feel, AND HEAR the fuel cut-off for a split second (as it should) and then come back on ...BUT! You are Still in the Same gear!
I went through a half a tank of gas throughout the day today , even brought a laptop with me to change between 60-65-70-75-80-85 ms kill time and making sure all the other "options" were properly filled in on the pcv. I read this post from the beginning and some of the symptoms seem to be similar to Kens (maxout). Sure appreciate the help guys. Good luck Ken when you call Dynojet let us know. |

That makes no sence to me. I assume that it shifts okay when you use the clutch. |

Doesn't make any sense, I agree......unless the switch is normally closed instead of normally open.
Then when you lift up on the lever it would not shift because the switch would be open. When you take pressure off the lever, the switch would make and cut the fuel. That's what I think might be going on. |

Drove around with the laptop eh?
We'll all get you working or Ken is usually good on his product. I'm sure he sees this thread. I'd refit it also .. you never know.. It does seem weird that you feel the pause. Lower your shifter, pull firm(don't force). Hopefully you can figure this out!! Also, when above my 5k minimum, It will shift if I physically let off the throttle for a split second. (but it won't shift if I don't let off throttle.) |

I don't see the normally closed or normally open option on my screen! I don't either...is there a way to update the version I have? How the heck do you do that so maybe I can select normally "normally open"? |
