New Brock's Performance muffler for the Vmax 1 year 2 months ago #1

Brock's Performance has a new muffler for the Vmax.
It's called the Alien2 , and it looks much better on the vmax than the original Alien.
Has a much larger body and core than the original , didn't show any measurable improvement on the dyno but it did have a better sound , more lower pitch growl.
Brock's also offers a DB killer noise control plug for the Alien2 that can be taken in and out very quickly.
The black one is the Alien2 and the polished is the std. Alien

My name is Helen, I got my 1st bike in 1973 it was a 650 Yamaha in 1974 I had 2 650 Yamaha's I then got a 850 Yamaha and was the 1st in New Zealand to get the 1100 Yamaha.I have a 2005 xjr1300
I would like someone to buy me a 2009 VMax as I just love the look of this bike and I would love to ride...

Your welcome. I think the Alien2 fits the Vmax much better with its larger body. The sound and looks are better for sure , Brock was hoping it would add a couple more HP with its larger volume but it didn't happen.

Hmm, Looks very similar to the original Alien. Is the original alien now discontinued?
I am assuming this is the muffler that will come standard with the Brock full alien system now?

You can tell a big difference when you see the 2 side by side. If I had a system with the original Alien I wouldn't replace it with the Alien2 unless money was no object but if I was buying a new system I'd deffinately want the Alien2.
Im not sure if the original is still going to be avalible but Im guessing that it would be , I'll be back at Brock's later this week and I'll get you an answer for sure.

Oh Great ! Does Brock offer a trade up plan !! ??

I suspect it will be at least as loud as the short meg maybe a little deeper tone if that is possible

Kris you just bought the Car and the new model came out a week later !

In fact I think Anyone introducing a superseding model should offer a trade up plan if the purchase was within a few weeks of the launch of a new product. Apple did it with the iPad 2

I am still greatful for what I have. I've been Nash flashed baby and loving it!
