Having owned 3 Gen 1's that sounded great, I'm very fussy about the Gen 2's sound. I can tell you this pipe and can combination sounds very good, although the Supersport cans might be too loud for some people. |

Hindle update:
Lang called me tonight an they built the same system that you have Mark, an very pleased with the sound as a result of the criss crossing of the cylinders. right front, left rear out one side an left front right rear out other side. because of the firing order it has too sound more balanced. I was never real happy with the idle sound with stock cans an cat removed, Lang is going to make some adjustments to the final product which will require my bike being there a little longer, but thats ok.he wants to try different can setups for that perfect sound. 16inch cans etc. I want to be there at that point an play along.(music to my ears) thats it for now. just got back from Hindles. asked Lang if he would try too adapt stock cans to his new mid section. they made up some adapters to test, an idle sounds better than before but as I expected, still too loud but better than the mid pipes I had. criss cross design did change the sound. they have been trying different can lengths for sound quality. seen a pic of my bike with black cans on it,looked good but I`am leaning toward 14" brushed aluminum look. will pick up bike next week. I don`t think stock cans on their mid section is something they really want to produce but who knows, maybe with some interest out there maybe they will. stock cans really don`t muffo anything but fulfilled my need to hear it.
