Should i be worried about going to the track and having metal shavings in my engine?..About to go and get ANOTHER oil filter and oil to change it out, but in long term..Do you think this could hurt something with the engin down the road??

Just a thought..

If the Steel Plates have a rounded Edge on one Side and a sharp Edge on the other, i allways place the sharp Edges towards the outside of the Motor. That means, if you pull the Clutch Lever, the Discs will disenage a bit harder, but if the Lever is left loose, the Plates have it easier to travel towards the inside, making the Engagement of the Clutch Paket easier.

Don't know if it makes a Difference or not, but i haven't had any Problems with this Idea since more than ten Years.

but I did just the opposite of what you just explained. So I may try what you stated.. I've had the clutch plates apart so many times now I can do in just a few minutes.. I'll rearrange it then see what happens maybe it'll help.. Thx!

I still didn't flip the plates yet..I got so used to it i never went back in and did it..I do want to and will one day, but just haven't gotten around to it..I'll post up what my finding are when i do it..I think i have a new oil filter comeing from Tim and i'll do it when i change out my oil..

For you guys that want a good i flow oil filter??? Tim and i have been talking about a just about a life long oil filter for the BEAST..He doesn't have time to put to the test himself, but i've had it in my hands and it a great chunk of metal/oil filter..

If you want to check it out and i'm sure some of you have seen it before..And if you have let us know..

Tim is going to start carring it on his site i do believe..You may want to ask him tho when he's not soooo busy..
