Thank You BUT that's not what I'm talking about, the clutch is grabbing to far out on the release ! The clutch is new , but it seems like it out of adjustment . I already adjusted the numbered adjustment , I have it on number 4 now .

Are you sure that you didn't leave out a plate? |

Yea they did a good job , it felt better the first couple weeks ! It doesnt slip at all in all gears even at full throttle I just feel like it could be closeer BUT it could be just me !

Adding a 2nd clutch spring will change the release travel immensely and add many miles to the life of the clutch..

There is a member who sells a spring seat that keeps the second spring in place. I'm testing a solution wher you remove the stock spring seat, but the juries’ still out on that one. So far so good. |

Not at all, just remove the clutch cover while the bike is on the stand, pull the 6 bolts that hold the spring, add a 2nd spring plate (replace the 6 bolts also) and put it back together. 30 - 45 minutes to do it is about right
