i am installing the electronic shifter and i was wondering about the auto shift for drag racing. now with that auto shift are you able to adjust the shift points for each gear on one universal shift point for all the gears???

It's adjustable between 2000 & 9875rpm's. Peak torque of your engine doesn't change, so it's probably 1 setting for all gears..

Josh have you talked to a tech at Pingel i am sure they have an application engineer that could answer your questions
and adapt to your needs i would give them a call you dont have to many options and they are a good company. |

+1 on what Bob said Josh. Thats your best bet. I had the pingel air shifter on another bike but it wasn't as sophisticated as the one you're looking at. Lee has a similar set up as the one you're getting on his 14. His automatically shifts at a set rpm in each gear. It's killer.

Yea D with a stretched swingarm he would have room for a bottle he could even run a mini compressor and have full time
air shifter as well like Lee's automatic with button overide but not CO2 , Providing a singlesided swingarm can accommodate a bottle |

i already have a electronic one and brocks is extended swing arm is capable of holding
up to 200 PSI how much air is the question and it has a place for i nitrous bottle as well built in to it but idk i think i am going to stay with the stock swing arm for now and work up to that swing arm i want to save up for the bst rims first ikd what size rim i want though they have 3 options i think for the rear 6, 6.25 or 6.625 idk which size i would want though i think the 6.625 would be great for shinkotireusa.com/product/product.php?id=73 for the track and for the street what do you guys think |

One step at a time Josh work on the shifter get all that working then move on to the swingarm / wheels
But if you intend to drag race this bike you wont have anything but wheelies without a swingarm you should talk to the guys at Brock about the arm the wheels dont really help much drag racing in fact they would hurt your application by lightning the front end , Lee is pouring lead into his hollow front axels to add just one pound of weight to the front and he is extended over 8 inches the BST's would look great and handle fantastic but making the front end 4-5 lbs lighter lighter will make you a stargazer on that bike, so you need to figure what you are going to do with this bike , 4 inch would reduce your wheelies with the stock wheels and you would still have good street handeling that bike will be a lot harder to drag race than the Max because of the short wheelbase in stock form, The traction control will rob power to reduce wheelies but add a full second to your ET with it on that is more for road racing turns ect |
