Sounds very strange to me.

Those Clutch Slaves are known to get very messed up when the Fluid isn't changed for a long Time, it's a Matter of Rust and Gunk. I for one decided, to replace the whole Slave instead of buying Replacement Parts and fiddling around with them for a long Time to get the Job done. Same with the Water Pump.

I'm not saying one can't get Job done or it doesn't hold up well enough to bother with Spare Parts. It's just that MY Time is worth something to ME and i won't even bother with this stupid BS. I find something useful to do with the extra Time gained by changing the whole Unit and be over with it. I could make some Money to pay for the new Part or even lying on the Couch is more useful than fighting a Part with suspected Outcome.
