Great battery, worth the money..I say maybe, my stock battery did almost just as good.... I saw no change really..
Am I glad I purchased the battery? sure... I guess... If you are at the point with mods that a few pounds make a difference, then yes It is worth the money.

I was having an issue with the bike cutting off at stop lights, both hot days and cold days, I seemed to go away after I replaced the battery... If that made the difference then YES it was worth it.. If it was coincidence then no it was not worth it...

Starts faster too , Any weight lost is good and the battery is a bunch , if you leave the bike unattended and have any GPS or power socket get the Shorai charger it's a good partner to the battery soon as i get off the bike it's plugged in it has 2 modes store and charge well worth the money .

If you need a battery....and everyone will sooner or later it's the way to go IMO.

On the Yuasa web site the VMax replacement battery is $202. store.yuasabatteries.com/products/produc...ber=YUAM72Z14/1717.0

My battery was going on 3 years old and while still started the bike fine, did not crank it the way it used to. I figured it was time and the Shorai made sense to me.

stock Battery weights 3800 (metric) gram, Shorai 18Aheqv weights 1040 (metric) gram.

I love the Shorai, more powerful than my old stock Battery and not a Problem. I'm thinking about getting a fitting Battery Box done during Winter, frees up some Space around the Airbox.

Got mine from Tim as well! It definitely starts quicker than the 3 year old oem battery. It was an easy install with the spacers provided also!
