Looking for an oil pressure gauge kit. Any ideas where to purchase a kit (VDO style gauge) and also where to install it in on the engine.

You have to fit the sender unit in place of the plug which is just blow the water pump, you can get an electronic gauge or gel filled,,I had a gen1 vmax years ago,I fitted a 50mm SPA clock in place of the rev counter in the clock pod,I now have a gen2 and my oil gauge is wired in to the oil light on the speedo.

Cycle One Off
Look at the top mount gauge. This seems to be working well for me. Tom Colby is straight up and will get you what you need. The use of a copper gasket for mounting the fitting to the engine will stop any residual oil seepage. Nice and simple. |
