Try a Shinko 011 in the front to see if it helps

Hello v max Lovers, I have a brand new Vmax Matt Black 700 miles and from the beginning i had the feeling that something is wrong with the alignment of the bike.

first i thought the steering wheel is not straight because is looks it is more to the right while driving .
Also my left arm is more straight than my left arm.

when i ride and let my hands of the steeringwheel i have to move my upperbody more to the right to correct the balance.

This makes the conclusion that the Motorcycle is not in alignment .

I have driven my whole life motorcyvles and feel everything but this is not something minor.

The frame is build up from different parts in the front, maybe someone else had the same problem and can tell me what to do .

Have anyone got a cleu what this can be ?

Thanks and anjoy your V Max.

After reading your post, I kept a mental note to check the balance the next time I rode and today, I checked at 30, 40, 50 and 65 MPH and my 2010 is in perfect balance and rides totally straight with my hands off of the bars on a straight flat road...

Have you checked your triple tree and forks to see if everything is in-line and balanced???...just some thoughts...

Hope you find out what is causing your issue...

I have mentioned this problem with my MAX about 18 months ago. We drive on the left here and my MAX has always pulled left. I have usually allways been able to go hands free on most other bikes, but MAX just will not do it. :hmmm:
I can`t remember when I first noticed it, but I had a small altercation my first time on the drag strip which was due to inexperience and a bit of oil on the track from a cage and have thought I may have twisted the forks, but every test and line up looks good?
It appears this problem is still happening occassionally from random MAX models with no reason? It has been reported too often now to dismiss it. :rolleyes2:
I will re check again as Bob has outlined. It is bloody annoying knowing the problem is there. :suspicious:
I will be changing both tyres soon so will see what happens? :cigar:

I have no idea what the triple three is of the vork ?
Is there something what you can adjust ?

Yes finally i have found another person who have the same problem and it is annoying when you are sitting out of the middle on a very fast bike .

Normally the bike should be able to feel like a part of yourself .

This is when you can let it do what you want it to do when you are in the flow .

Now it is just an unwilling wild horse who would not listen , in a way you are constantly working what is very logical to understand when the bike is not aligned .

Thanks for your thoughts .

Talked with the person in Tampa , he had no idea .

They ordered in new bearings at my dealer for the play they found.

Interesting , new bike and mounting new bearings .

The play was noticable when you move the wheel verticle not when you moved it horizontle.

Think it is in the swingarm , bearings you should feel both ways.

I Let them figger it out .

Noticing before that i am not sitting lined out in the middele of the bike at all .
