Well I can see no reason why you should not be covered......but Yamaha would get an opinion from the dealer whether or not the repair falls under the X-Waran, or if they should deny the claim, so being on their "good" side will work in your favor.

I respect your all's opinions about being nice and 'feeding the monkey', butt i think thatz bullshit you owe them ONE dollar. They took your money for that Xtended warranty w/out question now didnt they???? They should by you a soda for taking so long.

i told them b4 any or this started to tell me if this will be covered and they said yes it would be..

Now, i said this to him again and he never did look up my info when i reiterated this to him and he said it was upto the Service Mngr. to look it up and it nvr was..ANd that guy is out for a few days now, and he will get to it when he gets back to work..I asked to speak with the GM and he is out as well..so, i'm going to go and pick up my bike and IF there is any issues with me paying..They can ngative my bill for the cost of the ex-warranty i bought throw them to cover my bike that i bought from them..

Sounds good to me..I'm sure it will be covered or they are just going to eat the cost of the work they just did.

ANd it better be clean too..

Now if they really wanted to be buttheads about Not paying, they would bring up the fact of your Mods(voiding warranty). And that would definately be all the more reason to Fire them.

I feel quite strongly about this, since I deal w it daily in my field of employment.....{one day late on that premium and you're not covered. Yet, you may have to wait for the ink to be printed on that check though).....

Well, I picked up my bike & the 1st thing I noticed was it was darty as hell & u could tell it had been sittin' outsidw.. In the rain , & some of the bolts have rust on them...

& I could see the quickshifter wire was not tucked in to hide it.. & the q/s did work anymore.. they could of atleast corrected it or test it to make sure it worked.. I know, they don't no what setting it may have been, but they could of told me about it.. & my exhaust was al discolored and funky.. Went straight home to correct everything and I just finished quick shifter is working right now..Exhaust is looking pretty now I need to wash the bike..

Other then that, bike runs great & "No" cluncking sound & nothing but smooth..

I will bring this up to the GM to see what he says about leaving my bike out in the elements.. the service guy told me it wasn't outside but you could tell it was.. my bike is garage kept with no rust on it whatsoever..

I don't blame you for being pissed that they left it outside and F'd up the Q-shifter. I always want my stuff to come back the way I bought it in.

I just setup a bunch of PC's for a customer and I made sure I cleaned them all with Windex to get my fingerprints off, and packed them up exactly the way they came from the factory. It takes just a couple of extra minutes to do things right.

Glad QS is working again too... sounded like a simple fix?

It's amazing how many service people don't give a fucl< anymore.
