Hi,
For what I know the Top Speed Governor Eliminator only reads half of the real speed after 120 mph. After what speed does the same happens in a speeddometer that works in Kilometers? Anyone in Europe who have already bought it can tell me? Thanks. Dani |

Mathematically that would be 193 kph. Hope that's what you're asking.

I have this item mounted but i never looked at the speedo at which speed the scale is changing. It is between 195-200 km/h definitely. It works great and that is the only thing I'm interested .
Never seen a speed limit at 200km/h where the correct speedo information would be necessary |

I have the TopSpeed mounted since last October.
The speed change from ~236 Kmh to 120 Kmh up to (my current limit) ~145 Kmh, real ~290 Kmh but I believe -10% less due the normal odometer deviation. Luciano - Rome - Italy |

Hey there!
I wonder if Vmax is still stabile at speed of ~290kmh or is it nervous or something... |

If you can get the gearing to comply with 180 mph, then all you need is HUGE arms..

The speed signal is the same on every VMax around the world. Only the display converts it to human readable units. The unit has been installed on VMax around the world and will behave pretty much the same whether kph or mph in terms of absolute speed. Due to variations in component tolerances the cutover will happen north of 120mph and north of 200 km/h. Some unit s will be a bit higher. There is no point to make it super precise and require more and more complex components. I agree that nobody should look at the speedo at those speeds. Its the first thing they will tell you in racing school, some will even tape out the speedo because of that. |
