TOPIC: electrical question

What wire sends the signal from the ecu to the rpm gauge/tach ?

I suprized no one has replied yet. I did look at my service manual butfound it far too detailed in the electrical schematic for me search since i'm limited by time today.hopefully someone else will pop in. Just exactly what are you looking for?

I have the electrical diagram and I didn't see that circuit. Now maybe. I missed it, but I even cleaned my glasses.

I know which wires it can't be but don't know which of the remaining 5-6 wires that it could be...

I do know a quick way to check would be to take those 5-6 wires and un-pin each one, one at a time from the Meter assembly connector and I think it would be possible to isolate it down quickly...

Maybe Oliver or someone else already knows since they have done extensive testing on for one, the speed circuitry...maybe they haven't even looked at the RPM circuitry though...
