How do I lift my Max to pull the front wheel off? 1 year, 10 months ago #1

I just now snapped off a pin on my buddies Lockart Philips lift trying to pick up the Max to remove the front wheel. Luckily nothing bad happened, the bike was not all the way up yet. Anybody pickup the front with a jack yet? I have a scissor jack that I use with the K&L adapter.....but that will only pick up the back.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Mark |

I didn't do it by myself, but i'd think a Racing Stand on the rear and the K&L/Scissor Jack in the middle will lift the front Wheel of the Ground. Secured with Straps of Course.
Or a Racing Stand in the rear and the Scissor Jack with a 2x8 under the Oil Pan. The Pan is rigid, I accidently pushed the whole Bike up in the Air while trying to mount the CrapSass. |

Did you have it on a rear stand before you tried to lift the front? I also have a fork stand you could brake If you want to come back over LOL

Listen Bud you got one bent pin and one snapped in half...Are the pins supposed to be made of tin plated balsa wood?.....Where'd you buy that thing ...Harbor Freight? |

it's a Lockart Philips I guess it should have a weight limit on it Did ya get it off? I do know that Action Cycle when changeing tires on heavy bikes like Gold Wings Uses their flatbed tow truck blocks the bike up straps it down and hangs the wheel off the back

I used another jack as previously mentioned under the pan...dosen't take much when on the adapter and jack in back, the bike is almost balanced. I'll crazy glue that pin for you overnight. |
