Question about running the X-Pipe with out any type of exhaust tips @ all? Will this end up doing any type of damage or make it run funny?

I think you would have a decrease in power. Not loud enough for you?

Depending on the muffler used and tuning you could get an increase or decrease in power. Or it may just change the power band characteristics.
It won't hurt the bike to run it with open headers so give it a try and see if you like it. Most will find it to loud and go back to some type of can soon. May need earplugs even with helmet. |

I ran my Akrapovic midpipe without cans, and it was earsplitting. Cool sounding, but way too loud for me, but fun to try.
