you can do diagnostic code# d53
to see if it actuates, but sounds like you need to unstick so it can rotate free then it wont show the code.... maybe the exup eliminator module might turn off the light ride it, book says takes 3 seconds at maximum before original state returns ? |

Can I ride it? I don't think I have a eliminator module. Where does it go? What book says takes 3 seconds at maximum. Is the exup the cables that used to run to the cat? I just cut them and left inside fender. Tks for the help brad.

it won`t shut down , the light will be on until the servo motor is free
maybe you could turn it and get it to reset... |

should I disconnect the servo motor? Do I have to take off the fender to get at the servo? If the servo is stuck, it's ok to ride? No damage will be done? thks

You'll need to take off the rear fender to get at the servo motor.
Did you take your cables out?? Do that and leave the servo plugged in. Maybe the cables got binded if you left em' on?? No? Mike D |
