Well, to make this Documentation complete, i carefully cut a Upgrade Wiring Loom open and looked into what Yammi considers a save Bet on the Splices.

There's a Goo inside the Shrinking Tube which nicely seals the brass Splices against the Elements. There are two Splices. Surpisingly, because six Wire go into the Loom and eight come out ..
