my cousin just purchased the 09max with a damaged rear 240 rim and for now put the original 200 back on, i said to him that he may need the original bearing kit to make it fit which he doesnt have but he just used the washer,spacer,from the 240 rim
is it a bearing or washer or spacer that is different, whats in the 240 bearing kit ?

Here's the list of parts and the Yamaha Rear Wheel Diagram which the ITEM # corresponds to...added the 240mm Wide Rim Install Document (2 sheets)...

Although item #10 (5 screws) is the only one that has a different PN, it is always good to replace the bearings and some collars but that is all up to the wear and tear and the user...I would personally change all of the parts that are susceptible to wear and tear and all seals and possibly some of the bolts...

And the valve stem is a valve stem and any motorcycle shop has them...no need to buy the one on the Parts List...

sure do, the max was lost around a bend and crashed it he bought it at auctions and we are rebuilding it.

It's the same parts for the 200 and the 240. However removing and reuseing the same bearings is a job left to expereinced service techs USING the appropiate bearing removal and installation tools.
